
William (Bill) Tasch is the Managing Partner of CTM Legal Group, where he focuses on delivering accessible and cost-effective legal solutions for clients.
Mr. Tasch litigates in both state and federal courts, having appeared before courts across the country at the trial and appellate levels. His litigation practice involves representing individuals, businesses, and union organizations in matters including contract disputes, real estate issues, partnership conflicts, subrogation cases, ERISA fund collections, veil-piercing litigation, and judgment collection. Mr. Tasch also has experience in real estate transactions, with particular focus on bank-owned properties, short sales, and distressed assets.
In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Tasch advises institutional clients on compliance matters and litigation prevention strategies. He has presented professional educational seminars to industry groups on topics including asset recovery and specialized compliance matters.
Mr. Tasch serves as an administrative law judge for the Illinois Tollway Authority.

His work has received recognition from peers and the judiciary. Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers Magazine named him to the Illinois Rising Stars list annually from 2015 through 2024. In one written opinion, the Illinois Appellate Court commended his "well-drafted brief" and clear presentation of a complicated appeal. In another written order a U.S. District Court judge praised his "courtesy and excellence" in the courtroom.
Before joining CTM Legal Group, Mr. Tasch worked as a litigation associate focusing on matters for banks and small businesses.
Mr. Tasch graduated first in his class from Bradley University and with high honors from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he served on the law review and the school's National Moot Court Team. During law school, he gained experience in financial regulatory enforcement through internships with the Federal Trade Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Illinois Attorney General's office.
Mr. Tasch resides in Wheaton, Illinois with his family.
